Prague Grand City Tour

Let me tell you a little about the program for the sightseeing tour.

It’s organized partly by car and partly on foot and takes three hours. During this half-day tour, you’ll get a general idea of the layout and history of our capital. You will be picked up and droped off at the hotel. We will explore the fundamental historic sections of Prague.

During the tour, a chauffeur (an english guide) is going to tell you about the history of the Czech Republic and answer your questions.

At first we drive to the upper part of Hradcany Quarter to see the Strahov monastery, the Pilgrimage place Loreto and the Cernin Palace. Then we will park at the side entrance of Prague Castle and will explore the Castle and the grounds. The walking tour around the Castle takes about 45 minutes and then we will continue down to Lesser Town. From the car we will see the church of Infant Jesus, a secret place - the John Lennon wall and Kampa Island or the Kafka´s museum.

Then we will cross the river by a car and visit Old Town and New Town, on the opposite bank of the Vltava River. The Old Town Square belongs to the most attractive areas in Prague. If you have good luck you will see the procession of 12 apostles on the tower with the astronomical clock. During sightseeing tour you will not miss places as the Stone House, the Church of our Lady before Tyn, Ungelt or Paris Street. A very important part of Old Town is the Prague Jewis Quarter, also named Josefov.

The next places of interest you will explore mostly from the car. It is New Town well-known Wenceslas or Charles square. On the way you recognize the Dancing House (Fred and Ginger) or the Municipal House and State Opera.
